June 1, 2022 – SafetyFirst Muirhead’s Ltd., a private Canadian safety services company focused in the energy sector, has completed the acquisition of Drayton, Alberta-based, Summit Safety Inc. (Summit).
SafetyFirst is a well-established safety services provider, operating across northeastern Alberta with a motivated management team, loyal customers, and committed staff.
With Safety First’s 26 years of experience providing site Safety, Medical, Technical Rescue, Oilfield Firefighting, and OH&S Testing it was a natural fit to acquire Summit Safety to facilitate expansion into northwestern Alberta. The Summit acquisition augments existing service lines and adds deep competency in the Drayton Valley to Peace River corridor.
The successful transaction allowed Safety First, to expand its existing footprint, while it provided the Summit shareholders with a liquidity event and strategic partner to continue growing the business.
