INTRODUCTION
The Company is an Oil & Gas Drilling Fluids software company, based in Calgary, Alberta which developed and owns a proprietary drilling software platform. The shareholders of the Company have retained Stormont Energy Advisors Corp. (“Stormont”) as the exclusive agent to represent the sale of the Company or the software platform as an asset sale.
TECHNICAL
This system is a commercialized integrated drilling fluids / drilling engineering software suite designed to manage oil and gas well-related data needed to research, plan, and manage all phases of a drilling project, from well design through execution and look-back analysis.
The software acts as a process simulator using complex 4D modelling (3D spatial + time) for Oil and Gas drilling operations to predictively model whether the properties of drilling fluid are sufficient in order to avoid costly drilling problems and delays. No other solution currently available on the market is as comprehensive, with easy-to-use layout, and modular by design.
SUCCESS STORY
The Company has recently signed a multi-year Software License Agreement with one of the largest energy producers in the world. The contract is the first commercial agreement for the Company and it has recently completed its implementation of the software solution including three additional custom modules. The significance of landing this client cannot be overstated.
OPPORTUNITY
The Company intends to leverage this significant beachhead to sell its software into other multinational and senior oil and gas producers around the world. There is recognition from the major shareholder, that being partnered with a major energy services company or the right financial partner would expedite the ongoing commercialization of its product.
