Stormont is representing the sale of a Canadian oilfield services company that provides a one-piece, portable containment system for use during drilling operations, well completions, workovers, and recompletions. The containment tanks are used as secondary containment as an alternative to liner-based systems for 400bbl and 750 bbl fluid storage tanks (drilling fluids, diesel, frac and production fluids).
The containment system is a patented design and method that provides the advantages of optimum sizing, quick setup, environmental security, and exceeds government regulations in all Canadian and US jurisdictions.
This is a high margin, differentiated service line that would be a compelling addition to an existing oilfield equipment rental business in either Canada or the US market. The company currently deploys a fleet of approximately 200 units into the western Canadian marketplace.
