A BC-based custom-home designer and builder, the (“Company”) has retained Stormont Capital Advisors (“Stormont”) as the exclusive agent to represent the sale of the Company.
The Company was founded in 2009 with goal of streamlining the process of designing and building luxury custom homes. Through a collaborative process, the Company has addressed the difficulties associated with custom home design — ineffective communication between designers and construction companies as well as the inefficient relationships inside the design, construction and client triangle. The majority of the Company’s clients are upper income to high-net-worth families and retirees aspiring to relocate or acquire a seasonal residence in the BC Interior.
The Company reported revenue and unadjusted EBITDA of $9.4MM and $0.5MM in FY2019, $6.3MM and $20k in FY2020 and is forecasting FY2021 booked revenue $8.3MM with EBITDA of $540k on a backlog of $10MM and sales funnel approaching $50MM. While FY2020 was a challenged year as a result of COVID (primarily project delays) and some internal reorganizational developments, the business has already turned the corner into 2021 with its solid book and stellar reputation.
